Project Boleslavova 3 is a renovation of a gallery-access apartment building located at the address of the same name in the Nusle district of Prague. The project maximized the floor plan to create 15 apartments with views of greenery. The building is designed with sensitivity to the original 1930s character of the house and the surrounding neighborhood, while also incorporating creative solutions to meet modern living needs. The galleries serve as balconies, complemented by well-maintained gardens on the ground floor. The architectural design placed significant focus on the communal areas of the building, preserving the original dominant staircase as much as possible, with the stone steps now complemented by custom lighting. Guided tours with the project authors from Plus One Architects – Petra Ciencialová and Kateřina Průchová – will take visitors through the freshly completed renovation of this historic apartment building and the contemporary interventions made.
