Lecture Series on Landscape Architecture: LAND/SCAPE II 2025

The lecture series on progressive international landscape architecture, titled LAND/SCAPE II, continues in 2025. The selected guests are not just designers but also strategists and visionaries in the development of landscapes and areas surrounding cities. Their work focuses on creating compact designs that enhance the quality of life for local residents, plants, and animals, while preserving biodiversity. These innovators have the ability to transform spaces with a view toward sustainable future development.

Attendees of the seven inspiring evening events will get the chance to experience the best of the landscape architecture scene, spanning the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, the USA, and Canada. In addition to international speakers, the lectures will feature notable domestic experts in urban biodiversity and landscape management.

Starting on March 6, visitors will have the opportunity to engage personally with guests whose designs and projects inspire the world. Their work transforms and improves spaces not only for leisure and recreation but also for other species. Through thoughtful solutions, they help mitigate local climate challenges and improve air quality.

The LAND/SCAPE II series takes place on the first Thursday of each month, from March to June, and in the fall from October to December, in selected venues across Prague. The first lecture, featuring Adriaan Geuze from the Dutch studio West 8, will be held on March 6 at 7:30 PM in the Grand Hall of Kino Světozor, Vodičkova 791, Prague 1.
